We as humans need to learn to forgive ourselves and to let go of any hurt to start healing. Our physical body is telling us there is something wrong in the energetic fields that surround each of us.’

Inside the room
– Knowing that this is a safe place for the client to relieve any stresses that they are currently dealing with or have any unresolved issues with their past, we have an open conversation about what you are wanting and/or looking for in your Massage- whether you want a full body or just the upper half of the body. I then tell the client to undress to their comfort level while I step out of the room. I will let the client know- that I will knock before coming back into the room.
Once, on the table, I like to do compressions on the whole body to get a sense of what is going on energetically and to feel where all the tightness is located all the while rocking the body to help stimulate the Central Nervous System to relax. I intuitively let my hands be my guide with each client’s request yet- I like to listen to the body to help reduce stress in the body. The body lets me know when I can go deeper into the muscles and how slow I should be going with my strokes. I believe, as a Therapist- if you listen to the body- a lot of things can be accomplished, and it can help you get into that deeper relaxation state of mind.
My massage style may seem similar each time you come in, but your body is letting me know where to go and for how long to stay in that area. Each person is unique in their own little way and each body has similar tension areas. I also like to incorporate light stretches throughout the body- more so for the neck and glutes/hip areas. I have a Swedish Style that can be light to deep- using forearms, hands, soft fists, and knuckles which all can be beneficial because I help you get into that relaxation state of mind to let go and your muscles start to melt like butter!
